grown garden

With such a fancy word, you’d think I know all about gardening. Nope. Not even close. I’ve been known to kill hastas before. For all of you avid gardeners out there, you know that’s not easy to do.

Yet, somehow…

So of course I had to get my masters in, school and community gardens! Which I did from a dietitian angle (read: I was much more into how to grow vegetables than flowers). I jumped into school gardens, and went to a school garden convention that ended up completely changing the way I viewed hydroponic gardening. After a number of years, and couple of tweaks and lessons along the way, I now follow what is best described as the “Lazy Hydroponics” System. Believe me, if it’s something I can keep alive, rest assured it is EASY!

One of my favorite parts of lazy hydroponics (other than NO WEEDING! yes, you read that right!)

is being able to pick fresh Tomatoes.

In January.

In Minnesota!

Join me in the journey and get on your way to growing your own food, inside, carefree, all year round!
